I'm annoyed I don't have Costa now, but this time yesterday we didn't even know if he'd start the game so can't be too disappointed I guess. With the next two games against Liverpool and Arsenal I'll probably get Kane in for Defoe and switch to Costa in two weeks time when Spurs play Liverpool and Chelsea have Burnley. Will prob downgrade Hazard to Carroll to get Lukaku in as Hazard for all his points this season so far never seems to get me more than a couple.

That said, Giroud isn't guaranteed nailed on is he, and that Liverpool defence is leaking goals.

After watching this weekends games, I'm thinking Hazard has to go before Lallana. Costa is the Chelsea player to have.

First one for me. Pedro too inconsistent and always subbed around the 70 mark.

Also, I presume people realize there's League Cup semifinals, FA Cup round, and the end of the transfer window before the next games. We'll also know who has blanks in GW26 and GW28 by then. Lots of things will change. If ever there's a week to hold the transfers till late, this is it.

Again I'm laughing that I'm the only nutter who will probably take Costa out for a few gameweeks while everyone else brings him in

Costa to Ibra looks like money for me this week. It's Kane or Costa and I just think Kane will have a couple of better gameweeks and with me having a generally settled team I can afford to switch around between strikers as I see fit.

My frontline is Kane,Zlatan and Giroud,yes Costa scored today but he'd be expected to at home to Hull.The 3 strikers in my team have better fixtures in the next GW.Chelsea at Anfield could be a tight cagey affair.

I'm in the same boat with the 2 mids and agree re. Costa.
I think I have to wait on him though with Liverpool and Arsenal to come. Happy to play my front 3 this week. (Gray Zlatan Kane)

On second thoughts, it's too early in gameweek with cup matches in between to take a -8. Not sure if I'd want both eriksen & Alli (who I already have) and I can afford 1 hazard drop before it effects me.
Will leave it a couple if days and reassess it.
Also Re Costa, Liverpool, arsenal burnley and BLANK could be the next 4 gameweeks.

Original Plan was to do Ali to Carroll then Barnes to Kane and switch to 343.

Now I'm not sure of relying on Pedro for Chelsea cover, Costa definitely on the radar but his next 2 plus lack of bonus pts at time is concerning .

He's doing fine for his price, if he was 8-9m I'd be concerned.
He looks to be on all corners and indirect free kicks while Cesc isn't playing which should be worth a few assists.

Won't be doing anything for a while but current musings seem to be revolving around West Ham players and getting rid of Giroud.

I swore I'd never go near Carroll after last seasons TC DGW snafu but you'd have to fancy him on form and up against Stones, Bravo & Co.

The cash saved would allow me to get rid of Capoue (or Lallana) for Antonio

He is only 7 million. I think the key is to forget what Costa is delivering and compare him to the other midfield options at 7 million. Once he keeps getting starts I'll hold him.

We'll know the GW26 blanks but not the GW28 ones. The FA Cup 5th round draw will make it a whole lot clearer though, and if Hull don't beat Fulham in R4 we'll possibly have 1 more definite fixture.

But fully agree, always a man for an early transfer but I'm 100% doing nothing till I see that Cup draw and can put together a proper GW26/28 plan.

Pulled the trigger and got Kane and funes moris in. Hopefully FM keeps his place a nice fixture in gw26 and gw28.
