I was too young to be a "shaper" but I remember winding my older brother up. I was saying that he fancied a girl from our area and he said "ugh no,she's a shaper"! He was at the age where he was going to raves or out dancing. He explained to me....this is a shaper

If you Google "Mr Vain", you can vaguely see a gathering of Shapers! :pac:

If I'd been old enough, I don't think I'd have been a shaper but always loved this 90's dance song so I can't really deny a fondness for some early 90's commercial dance...

Not sure if shapers were just an in-joke in our area? Anyway 90's dance

Ye, we use to call those shapers too but as far as I know, it was also those who danced a certain way specifically in the early 90's although that may have just been something that was said in our neighbourhood?! Not sure tbh

Most of the music i listened to, as a child and teen, was before my time anyway so I was looking back even when I was hearing it first
