Danonino. wrote: » This sounds like Online preorders are handled separately before launch by adding numbers to consoles shipped to that store. So two of three days before release the shipment arrives, they get a printout of preorders, separate them then have the remaining for in store preorders and reg stock. I don't work for Gamestop but did and have for pretty much every other retailer at some point. It's the only thing that makes sense. The no record in store for preorders online could be due to the two systems being kept separate, the online ones being part of one shipment the offline being store system based and they would have a figure. They probably even have a set amount set aside for online preorders and another for store stock/instore preorders .

I think the price is fine actually, I'm fairly sure I paid around €300 for a 3dsxl, although that did come with mario land. I've preordered Zelda on the wii u. Hopefully they didn't do a hyrule warriors job on it where it's unplayable on the old tech. The e3 footage from last June looked promising. This time next year if the line up looks decent I'll probably take the plunge. It'll be hard to resist when mario come out. Begs th question why didn't they wait six more months to have a decent line up of original games?

I'm still undecided about getting it at launch but I'd get in touch with the store you pre ordered online with if you 100% want it on launch day.

panevthe3rd wrote: » The two staff were very helpful and fairly embarrassed by the whole thing. but from what they said it seemed like if you use the click and collect option online then they get a print out in store and then they must put the pre order on their system manually. I hope I misunderstood them because that's a really long winded way of doing things and had too many ways to go wrong. they also said that the pre orders before Friday have a different sku to any placed Friday or after and that might be the reason mine was not logged properly. either way, check your pre orders went through. I'm fine with the €50 deposit. paid €110 anyway and am hoping to have it all payed off by March.
