How come you never see men in pajamas wandering around the shops, then? I've only seen people in pajamas a few times in supermarkets and it really puts me off shopping there and then. Not sure why, maybe it's because they justgot out of bed or cannot be bothered to dress.

I saw a couple of women wearing pajamas in the supermarket one summer sunday morning.
What made me wonder though was I could see the outline of their bra straps on their back. So they must have removed their tops, put bra on and then gone out to the shops. (unless they slept uncomfortably in their bras?).

Why bother...if you are removing your top - just get dressed properly.

Some settled community members wear pyjamas shopping, is it racist towards them if someone critics it? Or does racism only apply when it's smaller minority groups.

I think the women in the article are idiots. I would never leave the house in pyjamas. But, I think it's a ridiculous reason to get so angry at people and I couldn't give a crap if people wear pyjamas when out and about. My local shop had (or has? I haven't looked recently) a sign on the door saying no pyjamas as it has been a problem here. I think it's the least of anyone's worries here tbh and any notions that stopping pyjama wearing will heal all the other ills is bullsh1t.

It's not as bad as it used to be, but when I used to cycle through central Dublin maybe 5/6 years ago, the pyjama thing was endemic, at all hours of the day and night. I guess it got on my nerves because it was only inner city folk who did this. It's bad enough they haven't worked for generations, but it kind of feels like they're rubbing their laziness and sense of entitlement right in your face by not even bothering to get dressed to leave their houses. Anyway, I haven't seen it in ages, maybe they've mostly copped on.
