There's something about the ad wording that raises my suspicious concerns.
Nct backdated due to off the road, Maybe out of date.
No hidden issues, why mention it then? As much as people don't like time wasters it's reasonable to expect anyone want to have a look over it, that always makes me think of someone rushing a buyer.

I've been tripping over that ad for months, it's been for sale a good long time.

Mechanically they are pretty simple and dont suffer from much in the way of common faults. It's effectively an unchanged 1.8 petrol Avensis engine and box with simple suspension etc.

They're a nice drive and ok on fuel. They are 100% saleproof though. Mine was dead in the water, wasn't even getting enquiries on a taxed and tested Yamaha tuned 190bhp, cheap insurance, 40mpg, jap reliability coupe with paperwork to prove a new clutch kit, full cooling system refurb and 4 brand new bridgestone adrenalins, advertised @ €1500. I was 8 or 9 weeks waiting, managed to get €1200 for it iirc.

€600 would buy that black one i'd say.
