Eg, a 2010 2l Avensis will likely be cheaper than 2010 1.6l Mini. Power to weight ratio plays a big role. In simplistic terms a 1.6l car that weighs 1 tonne will accelerate alot faster than a 1.6l car that weighs 2 tonne and will be rated higher accordingly.
