The Greystones & Charlesland photo and image thread is here as a sticky thread. This means that it will always be around the top of the first page.

There have been many threads with fantastic photos and when they fall of the first page they are forgotten about and probably wont be seen again. So if they are added to this thread they will always be one of the first threads that will be seen.

This will also keep all photos to one thread.

and to add my appreciation of Johns contributions (and others) to the photographical history of the town and environs.
The aerial shots give a view you might not normally see - doesn't the Main Street (sorry, Church Road

) look very congested, and would definitely benefit from having NO parking at all. I know that's a discussion for another thread, so i'll exit now

Sorry, I didn't get a drone unfortunately but those photos above were taken from a red helicopter from Newcastle Aerodrome.
