However, after he had seen off Frankie Edgar at UFC 200, four months ago, nobody could say he didn't deserve a shot. Instead he's the holder of a worthless interim belt while the champion remains consistently active in the sport. To add to the gridlock you have Max Holloway on a 9 win streak. Not only is the featherweight division going to remain backed up but now the lightweight division faces a similar future. Khabib Nurmagomedov, with his insane 24-0 record appears to be at his wits ends as he sees a title fight slip from his grasp yet again. Tony Ferguson, with his own 9 streak win going can feel equally aggrieved.

Easily the greatest fighter to ever grace the octagon. I've been watching this sport since The Royce gracie era and not one of those lads can hold a candle to our very own Irish superhero. Please God everything goes well with the birth of his Child as I'm sure many here will know the stress of a partner going through pregnancy. I'll light a few candles for them tonight and one for his dad Tony too. Great to see artem get the win too, if he won two more fights I could see a match up with aldo. It would make for a great occasion. McGregor Diaz 3 as the main and aldo artem for the co main for the interim belt, they could sell the storyline as aldo can't get the rematch with McGregor so he decides to wipe out his whole team one by one until all that's left is the GOAT

What I find most disappointing is his use of bad language. I may very well be mistaken but after the fight at ringside did I see some young kids? He seems to be popular but why let himself down by this crassness. There is no reason for it. Nor excuse.

But this isn't about reasonable it's about whinging. The funniest part, is people are getting offended on behalf of other fighters. Saying he should be stripped of his FW title. Has Aldo said he wants him stripped? He's be a fool to tbh.
