I would feel a bit detached from reality. Everything just happens and you watch it from a distance. Later there are many other feelings. It's a cycle that you go through and it's not pleasant. We all go through it and it never gets easier. But as cliched as it sounds, time does heal.

Have you ever been on an A380 plane and would you worry how such a massive aircraft could possibly get off the ground?

I have been on board but only at a static ground display. As for getting off the ground, aeronautics is something I love so I understand how lift works.

I have bad insomnia these days. Go to bed at midnight, wake at 2, back to sleep then wake at 4 and have to get up and make tea. Won't be able to go back to sleep.
