What got me more was that canon-wise Ronan isn't a ****ing bad guy.

But yeah, it does make it a bit hard to take seriously - which is GotG all over - it doesn't take itself seriously at all, and that's it's strength. I loved it.

I can see where you're coming from. But with these sorts of films they either win you over or they don't. The scene below just oozed class and most of the rest of the film kept it up. I thought it was uninterrupted great fun and the best thing about it is that it's actually genuinely PG, you can let younger kids watch large parts of this without worrying about permanent scarring.

I'm looking at you. Lion King.

GI thought GotG was a just the same old superhero clichés trotted out to an admittedly great soundtrack. Sad childhood introduction to hero, big evil revealed, pun, pun, set up to mid sized CGI explosions, heroes fall out, heroes make up, pun, pun, build up to massive CGI explosions, massive CGI explosions, brief set up for sequel, roll credits.

First time I watched Guardian of the Galaxy I didn't really like it but watched it again a couple of weeks ago and thought it was brilliant plus has an ace soundtrack too.

Gave The Grand Tour a go. It's about 20 minutes too long and there is far too much emphasis on slow-mo shots of them drifting around the tracks. Hopefully it gets stronger because I got a bit bored.

It's a few weeks old but just watched the trailer for the Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Loved the first film. Might not have been the best film ever but had absolutely bucket loads of charm. It has a terrific up beat sound track which I've just listened through whilst finishing up work for the evening. Have a listen!:

Yeah, that's the entrance. It's the exit I'm confused about but sure getting in is the important part. There's so many one way systems over that way that I'd like to know where I'm coming out but it has to be on one of the 3 roads around the theatre so I'm sure it won't be that hard to figure out the way home.

I pre booked the parking and the confirmation email says entrance on Chimney View. It's so bloody confusing because there is another Q Park at the Marker, I think, so the people on Twitter were even getting confused by which one I was asking about.

Get back onto the income tax office and hound them. They can be slow but if you sit on them it speeds things up.

Have to have my income tax returns done by accountants these days but it's handy and you invariably end up with a fair chunk of change back every November!

I asked their twitter account and after much confusion they told me the exit is to the front of the theatre. I checked Google maps and again it's so old that I can't really tell. There is an entrance there, but it's 2009, so it's possible that Q Park made that the exit.

I'm taking some family in to see a show and I just want to be 100% sure of where I'm going. As I said the entrance is definitely on Chimney View so I suppose I can figure out how to get home when I get there. Or just live in my car.
