Official Conor McGregor thread (part 2). Read warning in 1st post

The last thread was nearing the 10k post limit so here's part 2.

The same rules as the last thread apply here. People seem to have strong opinions either way when it comes to McGregor and threads here tend to get a bit heated from time to time. Please keep it civil and discuss all things Conor in a mature way.
Any name-calling, trolling, baiting, or being a general ass-hat will earn you a ban from the thread and possibly the forum.
If you have an issue with a post, please use the report post function. Any off topic posts will be deleted.
Any "Do you even train Bro?" or "I'm an mma fan longer than you" type posts are not permitted either. They only make you look like a fool and as a result, everyone hates you. Yes everyone.

I don't think it'll get too out of hand. Most liberal democrats upset right now are females, LGBT, Latinos and Immigrants. Not the typical demographic to wreck the place.

If Trump lost, on the other hand, with all his gun-nut supporters.... different kettle of fish altogether.

Hes very good with his time with the fans. I love the way at the end of the 'mobbed by fans' macklife he comes out and in the middle of the scrum asks the reporter where is Nicaragua, genuinely wanting to know, thats typical of him!.

When i wrote my essay that day about the disabled guy in SBG meeting him, that was the type of joy he had on his face. I wasn't too far behind. It's hard to work out why he has that effect on people but i think it's definitely related to giving people hope. I think, in general, people like to see someone put in a lot of effort and achieve success. I certainly felt that way about the O' Donovans in the rowing too.

It's sometimes easy to forget how big a star he is. I remember years ago being on Grafton Street 4 days before Xmas and i spotted Michael Buble skulking around and got a quick picture. Then a huge group of carol singers (girls) spotted him and the whole street went mental chasing him up and down for photos, autographs and the like.

It's that level of fame now and continues to grow. He's got people like Drake and Kanye West and Ronaldo messaging HIM first because they're fans. I read an article somewhere a while back saying for athletes and celebrities, the UFC is their sport. It's the "In" thing right now and Conor is top of the pile.

Great to see Andrew McGahon with a slick haircut, wearing nice clothes and happy. He deserves it.

Ah he won't forget his roots. These events are maybe 3 or 4 times a year, other than that i'm sure he'll be wandering around County Louth and Monaghan as usual. I do wonder whether he will switch gyms now for his jiujitsu? It might make more sense to train in SBG Concorde. Pain in the balls commute but the Mac Life gig might make it handier to work on his game down there or move a wee bit closer to Dublin. He must be getting close to Purple Belt at this stage or has he already made it? Anybody know?

Deadly from Dillon. Haha. Good man. Get stuck in there. Conor is so good at that media stuff. Takes it all in his stride. I don't know how he does it. Constant cameras and photos and questions. He does have a lot more media distractions than any of the other guys which is always a worry. Good episode.

Listen - I moved your post first of all its not deleted. Secondly you werent discussing MMA, you were off an a rant about the grammar of the articles. Posting a video of the Mac Life for people to watch, thats fine..discussing whats in the video also fine. Writing a long rant about where people put comma's, apostrophes and use capitals and dont..completely unrelated and off topic. This thread is about Conor McGregor - it isn't about creative writing. End of - discuss the topic in the off topic thread or pm me but the discussion on it here is over.
