Personally I have the view that Trump is not a conservative , and his speech was full of old style FDR style rhetoric , ( build infrastructure etc ) that's will require even more taxes

Just look at FG policy to see the arrogance and contempt of the establishment, the country is crying out for social housing but they insist on relying on the dirty developers.

I'm delighted this morning. I'm so glad he got in and might shake things up a bit, the previous way wasn't really working for most Americans! Great news! Finally the people who were being ignored for so long are making a statement, Pennsylvanian steel workers, Northern Englanders. Who knows where this is going but it's exciting. I can't wait for an Irish Trump or Brexit to come along so we can shake up our rotten system!

Do you know how difficult it would be even still to build an empire like that? If it was easy every millionaire on the planet would do it. I was surprised to hear that Clinton never visited Wisconsin after winning the primary there. Seems a bit lazy? Where else did she not bother to campaign in?

I wanted her to win but it did bug me a bit that a lot of publications talked about when she won, not if. That seems like wilfully ignoring the mood of the people.

I think she must genuinely be in shock right now.

I was disappointed, now I'm 'meh'. You've made your choice, US, I hope it works out!

Celebrating? I mean not because someone won, but I don't understand celebrating a politician winning, always seemed bizarre to me, before they have made a single decision. Especially when it's not going to affect you at all, or is it just to be 'cool'?
