Abelton live is the most popular one for the past few years afaik. If you have a Mac I've heard that garage band is pretty good and doesn't cost anything so you can start straight away and play around with it

Some people! Someone posts about their wedding first dance song and they're queuing up to criticise everything about traditional weddings, exactly the kind of wedding the guy is having. Could ye not have a bit of tact and keep yisser mouths shut? :rolleyes:

He hasn't mentioned what kind of wedding it is, I don't think? Other than they're having a first dance and it's in Clare, if I recall correctly. They could be having a pagan ceremony at dawn at The Burren and an all day silent rave for the afters, for all we know.

Anyone know how long it should take for an old employer to issue a P45? I left on the 7th Oct and still no sign. Emailed payroll anyway but they of course didn't reply.

You don't need it, ring the revenue with your pps number give them the name of your new employer and they will update detail on your new employers ros for you

Hmmmm..... I actually did that. But the person on the phone I spoke to told me that wasn't sufficient and I needed to submit my P45 as well, which is why I'm after it. So I don't need it after all?

Most wedding guests hate speeches so I wouldn't feel pressured into saying much.

Depends on whether you want to go the traditional route or not.

Traditionally you are meant to thank the bride, compliment the bridesmaid and then go up and slap your new father in law with your ballsack.

As far as a toast, you can do what you like - short thanks or a longer bit of a yarn. I've seen it all, but if your not confident in your speaking then keep it brief.

The web summit is a bit of a joke imo. Virtually none of the starups that pay to be there get off the ground. It's a harvesting spot for recruiters and little else.
