Official Conor McGregor thread (part 2). Read warning in 1st post

The last thread was nearing the 10k post limit so here's part 2.

The same rules as the last thread apply here. People seem to have strong opinions either way when it comes to McGregor and threads here tend to get a bit heated from time to time. Please keep it civil and discuss all things Conor in a mature way.
Any name-calling, trolling, baiting, or being a general ass-hat will earn you a ban from the thread and possibly the forum.
If you have an issue with a post, please use the report post function. Any off topic posts will be deleted.
Any "Do you even train Bro?" or "I'm an mma fan longer than you" type posts are not permitted either. They only make you look like a fool and as a result, everyone hates you. Yes everyone.

Guys, just try a small bit of critical thinking before jumping to utmost offence.

Yeah it's a bit different on Twitter. I suppose because Twitter pages are a bit more public, that they add that as some sort of control over who can contact you.

That's what I was going by, I knew the kav acc was real but I didn't know about the ticks

So to stop fake accounts when a famous person gets a twitter and prove its them Twitter will give them a blue tick beside their name which means their verified and not fake.

I thought it could have been Charlie because some UFC Fighters and Regional fighters might not have the ticks but usually they do. Even most MMA reporters will have them. If you go to twitter you'll see it bud.

Thanks for clarifying John.

I didn't post anything about it but my first reaction was certainly one of shock.

I'm sure you can see how most people would assume that it was Charlie's account.

Not sure what can be done about it? I'm sure twitter themselves don't give 2 hoots about someone being impersonated.

It makes sense for people to assume that initially sure.
But I was talking about then John specifically said it wasn't Charlie. That he followed them so he could DM it and try to sort it out.

As I suspected it wasn't Charlie behind the account he has never come across as somebody interesting in using social media (probably to his detriment career wise) but hes signed to the big league now thanks partly to Conor,I assume he will have a manager to capitalize on it and try get his name out there and make some money.

I really do hope the rag media dont pursue him because ''he killed a man'' in the cage it could've happened anyone anytime anyplace.

He's already said he followed it in order to contact the person who owns the account. That's how Twitter works. You can't send dm's until you follow them.
