Anybody notice that they didn't have a spawn point reachable from their house but now have one. Only rattata and pidgeys and zubats, but better than nothing.

Yep, used to have nothing within 200m, now have a triple spawn in my front room. Occasionally useful or interesting stuff. Mr. Mime was there just now.

Apparently they've stopped mons spawning and started giving soft bans when you have the app open in a car, bus or fast moving bicycle. Unless you use a PoGO+.
No more doing a lap of town to top up on pokeballs.

Seems to be 50kph that triggers the mons not spawning and the stops not reacting (personal experience, albeit in one journey, and a thread on reddit). Restarting the app and walking (under 10.5kph) for a bit would seem to lift the ban. It seems you can still catch and spin with a PoGO +

I think when a new account is made it creates a spawn point there, when my brother created an account, our house is now a spawn for 2 Pokemon. It explains why you see a lot of Pokemon around apartment blocks sometimes

Do you get any storage upgrades as you level up? Halfway through 24 now and some extra space would be handy.
Hatched another onix today... but on the plus side hatched and walked my way to evolve my mankey, clefairy and am 7km away from fully evolving my geodude

After reading a few posts I have decided to start cheating too, I have to drive for 15 mins to get to a like stop

Not gonna go near a gym though, just hatch eggs and swipe pokestops

I don't get this mentality of "I live x distance from a Pokestop so I'm gonna cheat". Where's the fun in playing the game when you cheat? I understand living far from Pokestops is tough but where there's a will, there's a way. I'd rather not play than cheat but that's just me.

Being playing it since day one, but i have to buy pokeballs, (cheaper then driving for 15mins)

Also my phones gps doesn't work right in wet weather, and am not buying a new one

Reason to play and cheat..... kids love it

But not gonna go near a GYM, i would never interfeer with genuine players

I wasn't even thinking of gyms to be honest, more so the game isolated to an individual's experience. I just don't understand cheating in games as, for me, it takes away all the fun.

With that said, some people have reasons for doing it so to each their own. Thanks for sharing your reasoning behind doing it.

I even refuse to buy coins as it would take the satisfaction out of taking a gym!

But I do have a decent pokestop supply in my town. Having driven through west donegal today with the app open, I can see it would next to impossible for someone there to enjoy playing unless they travel to a town regularly (we took their gym on them too)

Hatched a few 5km eggs over the weekend - got Tentacool, Vulpix and Poliwag. Hatched a 2km egg also to receive a Magikarp. Still waiting for my Pikachu!

Had Squirtle as my buddy for the last 5 days because I wanted to evolve my 1113 CP Wartortle ..... just evolved into a 1823 Blastoise with Water Gun and Ice Beam. Not ideal.

Was over with relatives in London at the weekend. Nothing different to Dublin but I did get a Charizard off a lure that someone placed. Nearly dropped my phone when it spawned in. Took me months to get enough candies to evolve one and I get one off a lure a few weeks later.

I have exactly 150 coins. Was saving for an incubator but think a lucky egg would be a far better investment.

How long do evolves take now? I have enough pidgies/rattatas/weedles and a few others with candies lined up for about 25 evolves. Should I save up more before popping an egg?

Ha, thanks man. It has a crap enough move set compared to my evolved one but it'll be great to stick on gyms

You'd get 25 evolves done in 12 minutes easily. I'd get around 65 or so to get max benefit.

You'd need far more than that! With the Lucky egg on, you'll gain 1000 XP for every Pokemon evolved (that you've already captured) and an additional 1000 XP for every Pokemon you evolve that results in a new addition to your Pokedex.

As a result, you could potentially evolve 70+ Pokemon; I earned 77k XP last night with my lucky egg run and could have gone higher if I didn't need to transfer several 'mon for additional candies.

Can get even more evolves done now with the new animation, i'm guessing like 90 but will have to test. Anyway by the time you have enough for an evolve you can have bought your incubator and saved up again.
