To be fair they are both a bit older , definitely not at all unusual in their day but now probably could classed as a bit unusual just given their age and that.

Just had a reminder of a past fancy when I saw something about the TV show The Nanny. If you know it, it was the brainchild of Fran Drescher, who wrote it to play to her strengths as an obnoxious Noo Yawker with the fashion sense of Liberace on LSD and a voice like the QE2's foghorn (an actual quote from the show). I'm not talking about Fran, though, but about her costar Lauren Lane, who played her boss' manager CC Babcock. She kept trying to get her claws in to him, but eventually fell for the butler:
