I got 28 candy from a Dratini hatch yesterday, which I thought was loads!

Anyone else finding a lot more crap in the 2km eggs lately? I haven't hatched a Bulbasaur in about 6 weeks, Charmander in over 3.

Egg's are very hit and miss. I've started keeping track of min since the end of September and out of 23 2km's I've managed 2 Bulba (He's my buddy, I'm convinced there is a link), 1 Pika and 1 jiggly, the other 19 were dross.

I'm rocking 112 Hitmonlee candies, which will tell you that I've hatched way too many 10km's with that punk in them.

Have never hatched a bulbasaur or squirtle.

To be fair, hatching your 5th Lapras must also be frustrating.....says the guy who has yet to do so.

Pokémon GO is in the process of being updated to version 0.41.2 for Android and 1.11.2 for iOS devices. Below are some release notes and comments from our development team.
Catch Bonus: Trainers can earn a catch bonus for a Pokémon type as they catch more of a specific type.

Updated Gym Training: Trainers can now bring six Pokémon to battle at friendly Gyms. The CP of the Pokémon you are battling may be temporarily adjusted lower for your training session.

Egg & Incubator Screens: These will periodically update the distance walked without the Trainer needing to close and reopen the screen.

Fixed several audio issues.

Decreased the evolution animation time.

Minor fixes

Yep, this is extremely annoying, wish they'd sort it.

I'm at 131 seen, 120 caught. I'm not close to evolving anything, but don't mind so much because with a lot of walking, I'll evolve most of them eventually. But the few from the 10km that I'm missing (Snorlax, Lapras, Omanyte), I'll never get, unless I manage to hatch them....but I'd have to find a few 10km eggs first!

What does the "battles won" under Pokemon in gyms mean, does anyone know?

Omanyte and Kabuto can be found in spawn points/nests. Quite rare however.

It is the place where an attacker fell. So if you have a level 10 gym and I attack it with my 6 guys and I do not run away at the end (most people do, those revives do not grow on trees) and my last poke faints. The defender who wins gets a battles won.

I think that stat follows your mon from gym to gym.

Thanks, I was wondering. I'm the 2nd highest in a level 6 gym and all the pokemon below me all had battles listed under them, but mine didn't. Was getting paranoid that I was missing out on something

Omanyte pops up now and again in Waterford. Seen it around Tesco Poleberry, and down the Quay. I'd say Kabuto is rarer here, only ever seen it once in the wild

Kabuto spawns on the Quay between the plaza and the crane if you're looking for it. I caught one there a week ago. Had another on my nearby list Saturday just gone, but I was across the road and by time the green man came on, it had disappeared. Never saw an Omanyte, and the Quay is where I usually go! Will keep an eye out around Poleberry, thanks!

I've been playing on and off since the game launched and have a 5 year old who loves it, but with one pokestop within a 10 mile radius and the nearest gym roughly 30 miles away we have been constantly spoofing the gps.

With that we are currently on level 26 with 133 caught and 138 seen.

Thanks, the one wild I caught was just by the Pokestop at the Tower Hotel. Only had one other from a 10km egg, so I'm only about half way to Kabutops. I did have Kabutops on my Nearby once when I was in the park, but it was very early on in the game, with the three step glitch he could have been anywhere

As I said the recession is over, we are back to rip off Ireland.
But gamestop are the only place with them from what I can see.
Pretty much ignored the thing on its release, took a notion this morning and decided to look for one.

Sure as the hair on my head iv gathered 40+ oddish candies the last week while sat in my apartment and here I am, 4 away from evolving my gloom and there isn't a sniff of one tonight. I'm 6 weeks chasing 1 seel to evolve too. Been on holidays, on the beach, down Bray seafront and nothing. The game......

Make Seel your buddy. Dewgongs are awesome.

As for your gloom, I never do the first part of a double evolve until I can do the whole thing. It takes patience but sure as hell you'll evolve a 500 oddish into a gloom and then catch a 600 oddish 2 days later.

Yeah but everything I catch is awful IV wise. If I hatch something decent I'll always evolve it.
