24 Q7s purchased 4 for the eru and 20 for RSU

SDU certainly have access to a few nice vehicles it seems, saw multiple earlier but I didn't want to look suspicious as there was multiple high risk individuals around.

I'm surprised at the Yanks not flying over some Cadillac or likewise. I know that the American consul in Belfast gets driven in a GMC with a uk diplomatic numberplate.

No pictures unfortunately but on Thursday afternoon saw two of the new RSU 530 estates flying by Pearse Street Station with sirens on, interesting how there is no lightbar fitted.

They aren't getting light bars till November currently doing training with new Dmr RSU they where in cork this week too

Would the UK forces pick up a Mustang for the same purpose as that Lotus they had before? Like for Road Safety Demos and such, remember seeing that Lotus all marked up years ago, wonder would it be due to be retired?

Yesterday on the M50. Audi Q7 followed by Volvo estate with 2 BMW 5 Series estates. No roofbars on the BMW's. Disappointed at the quality of the rear strobes on the BMWs as well. It was in driving rain and they were hardly visible.

AGS driving school. There is some RSA involvement in assessments now.

I think time has come to get private companies to do CBD 1/2 course...lads are crying out for it. Few Driving Campus too around

The ambulance service use an external company to do the driving courses all ex Garda instructors anyway I'm sure they would go back up the driving school for a while

Would it be unfair of me to say that the new Q7's were a bad choice? Any time I see them they looked weighed down. So much gear, guns etc. Would you not be actually dangerous to drive at high speed with that much weight?

They wouldn't have the exemptions to do the driving that the school does.

No I haven't heard a complaint yet about them if that's the case new BMWs will be over weight

I know all the above have special vehicle divisions who look after that.

Yeah, all of the above are done in house canavans, had a Hyundai i30 and a focus in it a few months ago.
I think failure garda equipment is fixed in the depot.
Car chassis and body issues are fixed in the dealerships. Stand to be corrected though.
