Official Conor McGregor thread (part 2). Read warning in 1st post

The last thread was nearing the 10k post limit so here's part 2.

The same rules as the last thread apply here. People seem to have strong opinions either way when it comes to McGregor and threads here tend to get a bit heated from time to time. Please keep it civil and discuss all things Conor in a mature way.
Any name-calling, trolling, baiting, or being a general ass-hat will earn you a ban from the thread and possibly the forum.
If you have an issue with a post, please use the report post function. Any off topic posts will be deleted.
Any "Do you even train Bro?" or "I'm an mma fan longer than you" type posts are not permitted either. They only make you look like a fool and as a result, everyone hates you. Yes everyone.

My wife works for nbc in la and she said a few people said that Connor has been offered his own show by some network .. If it's true, that means Connor will be less involved in the ufc and more into the Hollywood scene.. .

I would imagine, based on what Dana has said, McG will take a break from the sport for a year or two, and when/if he comes back he will get an automatic title shot.

I'm also surprised McG hasn't teamed up with one of the big fashion companies and launched his own clothing line.

Hollywood role is unlikely. The way Dana mentioned it was as if its out of Dana's control and Conors for that matter. Dana would be major pissed if it was UFC unrelated. Dana shouldn't have opened his mouth in the first place, especially if its some illness related scenario.

It won't be a retirement or any sort of extended break from the sport.

There's not a hope in hell they would allow Conor to take Eddie Alvarez belt only to let him walk away for a year. Leaving 2 champions behind in 2 divisions who Conor beat.

Jonathan Shrager is a very respectable journalist who John Kavanagh has given many one-on-one sit-down interviews. He said this morning that the news relating to McGregor, quote, "isn't bad news" and is NOT related to either Hollywood, Mayweather or WWE. That also rules out surgery on anything.

Whatever we're left with i've no idea. What fits under "not bad news"? Pregnancy? Wedding? Neither are "out of left field" really but they would both account for why Conor wouldn't want to fight on the December card if Dee is due around then.

So the likely money is on that.

Conor and Dee are gonna want to be style icons so she going to want to get married before she has kids (I think) also I'd say he's vain enoilugh to want to get married before his face gets smashed up too bad and he knows that he might need a while off to make sure any damage from a fight has gone down
