Operations at Dublin gone to RWY16. Any reason why as the wind seems to suit 28 at the mo?

Was just about to say the exact same thing!

Its 220 degrees on the 6pm metar, so neither seems more favourable than the other wind wise.

Suggesting that the icing caused issue with dispersal of heat somehow?

Or the icing screwed with the engine control unit thinking it needed more power than conditions actually did?

Always Ryanair pilots, Boeing very rarely send a new aircraft on delivery with its own pilots, it will be the company who ordered the aircrafts pilots or a ferry pilot hired in by the company. Airbus is the same
