In or around the fassaroe exit in Bray on n11. Usually passing by it around 4.30pm. There's a petrol station a bit further south on same road that's good too. Grimer appeared there other morning. Always a few water types around it

Dont know of your with vodafone?
I had the vodafone smart prime 6 for 90euro it was a disaster.
I got the vofafone smart ultra 7 for 199euro very good better than my old s5 galaxy in my opinion.

You can get up to a 186 CP approx. Magikarp at your level so I'd recommend waiting until you can at least get a 150-ish CP. I now how hard it is to wait for a high enough CP Magikarp so it's completely up to you, but just know you can find higher CP than 138 CP at your level

This, by the way, is from someone who didn't wait and evolved his Magikarp at something like 140-ish CP at around the same level. My "Gary" ended up having Twister, but still...!

Nothing in the 50-60 euro range? The us has a 50 dollar phone (Blu r1hd) that plays it but you have to watch ads all the time. Bunch of nutters.

It's painful reading Facebook with all these new spawns everywhere. There was someone catching a Dragonite on my cycle to work this morning, FFS.

I would wait, I would guess you'll get a Gyarados @around 1600CP.
How fast are you levelling up and how often do you see magikarp?

I did not wait but I catch around 10 Magi's per day so I was able to get my next Gyarados pretty quickly.

just a thought i had this morning , i know early on there was talk that spawn rates depended on the volume of phone activity in an area , this y urban areas spawned more thean rural areas.

What i have noticed is that everytime i arrive at the office of our call centre partners i get a huge multiple spawn in their car parks , thees are the ABTRAN offices in Curaheen Road and Mahon , i had 11 spawn in one go this morning in curaheen but have always gotten at least 6 everytime ive arrived at either location. i wonder is it somthing to do with the high volume of telephone activity in the areas and if so are all call centre carparks going to behave in a similar way.

Highest I have seen/caught (currently level 25) has been 160 60%, I evolved my 148CP 90% Karp that I had been holding onto since I had approx 250 candy.
Got myself a 1612 Gary. At least I didnt get Twister!
Would love to know where all these 160+ Karps are hiding..........

Saw my first bulbasaur today and the fúcker ran away. Also got blastoise yesterday which is new to the dex. IVs of 11%!
New spawn points are definitely making it more interesting, loads of more good stuff around my house. Decided to do an incense, got 5 weedles, 1 pidgey and 1 goldeen. Complete waste of time

Feeling a bit directionless after the spawn change. It didn't do much good for my local area. I had nailed down spots where exeggute, vulpix and growlith spawned fairly regularly and was working on evolving them because I rarley see those guys without a nest. But since the change they mostly seem to have been changed to nothing, or something fairly common. In return I got a new spawn I can hit from my house but its almost always pidgy or spearow. I know it seems like random rare pokemon are on the rise but I'd like a destination to walk to while I spot those guys because I almost always am in the wrong place at the wrong time and miss snorlax, lapras, any evolved guys ect. So its nice to know the trip will guarantee some growlith candy or whatever if nothing else. Even the city center didn't seem that great. Onix seems crap and thats what stephens green is now. I'm grand for meowth and he is in merrion. I don't want to trek out to bull island again, it gets a bit boring.

7 Charmanders on the golf course at the moment

Maybe they should increase their security for a few weeks

Level 27 i still to see a properly rare pokemon other then Hitmonlee which used to spawn in the croppys acre in the wild , never caught a charmander , saw the shadow of a blastoise once and if i see one more fking Jynx in DCC im going to loose my reason
123 Mons in the Dex at the minute but will be slow going now using the buddy system to get the likes of Muk , Charmeleon , Charizard , Blastoise , Dragonite , Executor Machamp , Golm,Alakazam,Ivysaur and Venusaur

Incense is definitely a situation dependent item. No good unless you are moving. Sitting still you get 1 spawn per 5 mins, moving you get 1 per 1 min.
I used it when twice walking to the local shopping centre (~25 min walk at my pace) Wasted it twice not moving before I found out about the spawn rate.
I also used it twice on the LUAS, that was a great trick, got 20+ pokemon plus most of the pokestops along the way!

Found 3 Magmars within 15 minutes, all within a minute's walking distance of each other on the same walking lane, in Galway yesterday evening. Was searching for ole Maggie for weeks and then three of them come along at once lol.

Fastpokemap I find is great to locate spawn areas and then go for a walk to those areas to see what I can get

Irishtown nature reserve and around by poolbeg has a nice mix, a good few Growlithe's spawned there yesterday, don't see any today

Map shows that a Dragonair is between Sandymount and the park at the moment

Trinity College has a nice mix alos, 2 Abras there at moment, good few different mons seem to be spawning there now

Yeah I mean I just hatched a carp from an egg and was 139cp but 81% ivs. So iv him and a 138...86 one. All i catch in wild is crap. Iv sent a few 140+ to the prof with sh1tty ivs. Best iv seen tho. I don't mind powering it up. Have 170k stardust.

I've read that too and used it moving. Spawn rate was definitely not one a minute.
