Ah come on, players are sitting around waiting for them to make the rest of the game and they spend all their effort making it so a segment of the audience can't even play it. What are they playing at? I don't even have a rooted phone I just don't think this should be the focus when you had such a hot commodity with very little content to keep people on the hook. They should be enticing people to stay, not turning them away.

Heya, loads of people are getting that auth message too, particularly on the older version. The fix should be the same unless the account is banned, which I doubt.

This looks like the best bet for you but maybe wait until more people post a solution to see is there an easier way:

remove supersu and su_busybox from the ROM file, re-zip and flash the modified file.

Pain in the ass, I was about to root my phone before pogo did this.

I tried with a couple of Google and PtC accounts and got the same message. I don't think I'm up to messing with the ROM and will just call a halt to it. It's going to get cold ad dark soon anyway so probably a good time to stop.

I'm all about the IVs too but, in the grand scheme of things, i.e. gym battles, it's not going to amount to much, if any, difference.

What about selling your current phone and getting a new non-rooted Android one? Just think about trading, battling other players and, eventually, Gen. 2; it'll be worth it

Managed to get a Graveller, despite never having caught a Geodude. Hatched three Geodude in a row, which gave me enough candy to evolve one to Graveller.

Was in Dublin for the first time with the app, mad how different it is even compared to places like Galway for pokestops.

Bummer. Did the same a while back just to get the Ivysaur added to the dex. Dont worry, you'll get those 25 candies built up again.

At this point Im trying to only evolve 82%+ if I can. It might not make a big difference as Im noy a gym battler but I may as well try to do my best in case it matters more in the long run.

Sure battles doesn't matter people still cheat, had 3 mons in big gyms in st Anne's park. 4 mons in each gym and my mon was either the strongest or second and during the middle of the night when nobody is in the park all mons returned home.

Saw a Tauros, Kangaskhan and a Aerodactyl in a gym in clondalkin yesterday. Nice change from the usual suspects.

Discovered the most annoying thing about pokemon go: When you're in several gyms and forget to collect. By the time you remember, you're kicked out of them all
