There is no way they would accept the likes of a 1200 page company law book, eg, on day of exam. They have to go through these books, remember.

They used to. I have sat these exams a number of times and they have always previously accepted legislation on the day, but on the condition that it would not be on your desk when you entered the exam hall - they'd usually arrive about 30 - 45 minutes into the exam.

Good to know for this time that they are not accepting them on the day anymore! Wouldn't like to be caught out!

In past sittings they have accepted legislation on the morning of the exam, it just takes a while before you get it. I left in both my EU and Company legislation on the morning of the exams. Unless you are at the red cow for an exam the day before or have a friend who is, it is a lot of time to take out of your day before prep to go there to drop it in.

I would ask the invigilators at the start of the exams - I'd say you can drop it in the morning of the exam as per usual, if not it is extremely unfair on people who live outside Dublin and have to travel for the exams.

I'm sure they won't not accept them on the day but for your own ease of mind, hand them in the day before if you need to.
They understand that people cannot make it up to them the days before.
The person on the phone was obviously just a stickler for the rules!

Ask them on the first day of exams maybe?

Considering how the person I received the email from is the Exams Administrator, I won't be taking any risks and will be travelling to the Red Cow the day before to drop off the book. Company is my first exam so won't be there beforehand. Each to their own I guess though!

Corporate personality just refers to the separate legal person that a company is as against its shareholders and officers.

If you need a further explanation, I would have a concern that you may not be ready to sit Company on this occasion.

I have no clue what I am doing or if I am doing it right, I suspect I am doing it all wrong! I am trying to make notes for each topic but it is taking forever. How do you know what you should be putting down in notes. Is it supposed to be just bullet points and if so, how do you learn from them. Like i said panic is completely setting in now !

I sat this exam last sitting <<mod deletions>>.

I would definitely look over Mareva - <<mod deletions>> I'm basically doing all the above topics and making myself aware of the things I'm leaving out so I can maybe come up with an answer just incase.

What I also did was looked up all the topics she asked in the notes question in the past and made notes on each of them so it can be my back up.

I am doing four as well and feel like the note writing will never end. That said, I do find I am understanding and remember everything better. I will admit I spend a lot of the time convincing myself how far behind I am and thinking everyone else is well finished the note taking stage.
