Apple today officially took the wraps off the new iPhone. Pre-orders start this Friday (9th) and will be release the following week (16th). Prices start at 779 euro.

Ah it's also the 500 minutes and texts worldwide. They get used too. Data calls would be an option only the main person I call never has data coverage where he lives. Part of me wants to dump Vodafone and just go to Three or a network more suited to big data users.

I did the same and if I move to the €25.41 sim only plan as my contract is up, it works out pretty much the same give or take a tenner over the 2 years. The freedom to move networks/have an unlocked phone is more important imo

Neonman logs into his apple account to check his order after seeing the above posts hoping that his might have changed to an earlier delivery date but sees it is still "Processing items" and delivery is still "4th of Oct - 9th of Oct"

Just walked into Vodafone they have phones to walk in and get tomorrow. Pluses are only in Dundrum, Grafton St, Henry St, Blanchardstown. All other shops will get just be getting 7's. No shop is getting Jet Black colours of either. That's what I just learned

I'm the same. No one has a clue or they are told to keep quiet and play dumb. I ordered as soon as they were available to order last Friday so hoping I get mine in store tomorrow.

Nope it is the "journalist" making a wild guess.

"Apple Distribution" is probably just the entity which funnels the profits and does what the European Commission is not happy about.

Hopefully the deliveries will be all straight forward tomorrow with no delays. Worried that the bus strike and extra traffic build up could cause delays.
