After nearly two months of collecting candy to evolve Magikarp into Gyarados, how do you think I feel to get Gyarados... with Twister as its special move??

Gyarados is terrible with twister as it's 'power move', I got the same thing man. I leave it in gyms but it's useless to use in battle,

The thing about that is.....what if they re-work the move later on...or allow move reset's for pokecoins at a later date?

Yup, as random as it gets. In my case, it seems to be the really good pokemon that I end up getting the s**t moves on. Such as my Gyarados and Blastoise. I also got Psychic on my Exeggutor, which is alright, but I really wanted Solar Beam so I can use it against water pokemon.

Whereas the pokemon I don't plan to use in battles, I'd end up with decent moves.

Me too! It'll definitely help build up candies for those Pokemon we rarely see or even when a couple more candies will get us that evolve we've been waiting for.

AFAIK yes, it's random. Never read something that would indicate otherwise.

Maybe now..........but having a strong Onix and a lot of candy means you will get a Steelix when Gen 2 launches!

Got my first wild charmander today. That just leaves pikachu from the starters.

Just evolved my 95% iv charmander into a charizard and powered him up a few times, bit disappointed with its moveset but it will do well in defending gyms

Also recently got my first snorlax, it was also my first pokemon to have a ??? cp and is now my highest cp pokemon

It also has 80% ivs and a good moveset

has anyone figured how often nests spawn
I'm nearly certain ive found an exeggcute nest, ive caught it four times in the exact same spot in the last week
if I had an idea of how often it spawns id keep running out to check it!

Nests will keep spawning regularly, like I'm talking every few minutes. Marlay Park is an Exeggcute nest. There's usually 2, 3, 4 or 5 Exeggcutes at any one time all around the park. When one despawns, another one will usually pop up right after. It will spawn in different areas around the park though, not just one particular spot.

If you're talking about 1 specific spot, then I wouldn't know. If it's a nest, it rotates around different spots in a given area as I said. So it'll be difficult to pinpoint when it'll next spawn in the spot you want. The best you can do is use a scanner to observe that exact spot for a while and see how often it spawns there.

I know the type of nest you're referring too. The Pokemon should spawn at the exact same time during each hour, e.g. from XX:15 to XX:30. As for which hours in the day it will spawn I've not reliably figured that out and the only option is to go and check or use a scanning app. FastPokeMap is very useful for this. I find it a lot more fun running out the door knowing there's something good there then going several hours throughout the day and getting nothing.

Yeah its one specific spot that ive found it, its in the corner of a tiny little piece of grass not too far away from in the city centre.
Ill check that scanner see what it says, cheers!

What's gryados best special move I nearly have 400 candies! I recently got an areodactlye

My 10k eggs just three were;

600cp snorlax 30 candies
1000cp snorlax 30 candies again !
1000cp areodactlye!

Finally got enough candies to evolve my Dragonair and Wartortle only to get a Dragonite with dragon pulse and a Blastoise with ice beam.

Hydro Pump (for Attack)
Dragon Pulse (for Defense)

Dragonite has great IVs too. Should be okay for defending gyms at least, and he's my first mon to break the 2000cp barrier.
