I've been using the PokeAssistant website. Is the figure in bold your Pokemon's %? I ask because I moved the slider the check the evolve and my guy ended up about 200CP less than what it said on the website

Funny you mention that. I was just thinking today that I haven't seen a Dragonite on a gym in ages. I guess every single one I saw previously was due to botting after all. Also, very few people in gyms are over lv25 any more too.

Caught a Dragonair last night. Glad to see something new at last. And that's one annoying dex hole filled. I'm sure the candies will come in handy too of if I ever want to become one of these lads I see with a fat dragonite sitting on every gym on sight.

It's really starting to bother me that distance isn't clocked properly on my eggs. Went for a 20 minute walk this morning, got the "you're going too fast!" message at the start when the gps was loading and it didn't clock distance at all on either of the eggs I have on the go.

I'm 29 btw, my boyfriend doesn't get my obsession but most of my friends are playing too.

I do a ball hunt about once or twice a week for an hour at a time and they last me the week as there's no stops near my work. With 220 balls and a minimum of potions I should still have enough raspberries but I have to keep feeding the scarpering mons. I'm not convinced it makes a huge difference though. Countless times I've had stuff escape from raspberries and ultras only to catch them with one normal ball.

Ive never got a bag upgrade. I tend to have 30 razzers on me at all times and around 35 revives and 40 hyper potions. The rest is all balls.

Very generous spawning at lunchtime. Picked up machop, Ponyta, two mimes together, sandshrew, rhyhorn and a few Eevies. Had a few Eevies and a bulbasaur run and there was a load of koffings and venonats which I don't bother with.

Hatched a Jynx as well which was new for me. 1000CP.

I've run out of raspberries at this stage. Sorry I dumped a load to make room for normal balls.

Walked into a pole today trying to catch a Voltorb.

Caught the bugger tho so it's not that bad.

Ive never got anything good from a 2km egg. Always the same guys, Pidgey, Weedle, Caterpie...... never anything else. Why bother with them?

Below is the candy range per egg type found here.

2 km eggs: 5 to 15 candy
5 km eggs: 10 to 21 candy
10 km eggs: 16 to 32 candy

I've hatched a few Pikas and Karps but never with more than 6 candy. Have I been unlucky or is this normal that 2k eggs give low candy?

Currently in lanzarote and the place is full of rock type pokies caught a mountain of geo dudes 2 x gravelers and have nearly enough candys to evolve graveler.

Also caught 2 onix seen a Arcinine but after 10 balls he ran away.

Plenty of growlite aswell so nearly have enough candy to evolve one.

Sandshrew pinsir and mankys in plenty of supply.

Caught 2 charmanders also
makes a change from rats pigeons and weedles id been getting back home.

Only downside there is very few about a total of 10 pokestops along a 2k radius at the seafront and they like to give you potions rather than balls so am constantly out off balls.
Had to fork out and buy 100 balls.

I wouldnt be trying very hard to find these either they all pop up at our apartment or while walking down the strip.

I just catch them anyway. Really you're only losing out on 400XP, which is tiny in the grand scheme of things.

For anybody who is disappointed about the moveset learned by their Pokemon like a Submission Poliwrath or a Flash Cannon Blastoise here's another list that shows these as very good defenders! I think nobody truly understands the battle system and most of these rankings are based off a lot of assumptions or idealised scenarios so that Pokemon you may have thought was poor could turn out to be very useful.

No Pikachus or Charmander here either but Bulbasaur is everywhere since last week. If I had time I'd evolve a Venusaur in a couple of days, if they'd behave themselves. Bulbi and squirtle share a house down the road from my office.

Only place I've seen Charmander since choosing him at the start (outside of eggs) is Bull Island; that place is a weird nexus for every type of Pokemon. I also got the other starter Pokemon there too, i.e. Squirtle, Pikachu and Bulbasaur.

Yeah I'm the same. Picked Charmander as my starter but haven't even seen another one since. I've caught/hatched enough Squirtles to get half way to a Blastoise and caught one, hatched one Bulbasaur.

Almost ready to hatch another 10km. I'll take Onix or anything other than Scyther, Hitmonlee or Pinsir.

10/1 it's an Eevee that will become a Flareon.

I'm giving up on Squirtle. He just refuses to stay caught and I CBA trying to get enough for a Blastoise.

Onix is the worst 10k egg. Weirdly useless in the game.

Legged it down the road yesterday to catch a weezing, 30 mins later on the way to the bank machine another one turned up! First time ever even seeing one let alone two.

The weekend it came out myself and the wife were babysitting so we both downloaded it to keep the kids quiet and we haven't looked back since :pac:

In fairness though I'd have downloaded it anyway because I loved the original gameboy games when I was younger and watched probably the first season or two of the cartoon (I'm 31 now). My wife was never a fan of it when she was younger but has really gotten into it too so its been great for encouraging us to get out of the house at weekends and go for walks (trips to Bull Island and Dollymount are the new pilgrimages for the Pokemon generation!)

27 years old here too. My boyfriend (30) also plays but I'm kicking his ass. (Level 20 vs Level 12). Just hatched a geodude from a 2km egg which is new yeah!!!

never seen any rock types around though so we be relying on candy and he only came with 5.

1 more 2km on the boil, I'm getting more lately, they were rare for me before. Also a 5km with 2km left on it so should be simultaneous hatches.
