Getting close to having enough candy to evolve a Poliwhirl to Poliwrath, and I'm about half way towards enough candy for a Gyarados.

Have 2 10ks on 9.9k. But I'm at home hoping the gps malfunction will get me the last 100m. 2 lapras, eevee, scyther and onix (I think) out of my last few. Hoping for a newbe or two :-)

have been trying to play the last while and any time ive opened pogo the map appears but doesnt show any of the pokestops, gyms or pokemon near me, but yet when i use the wifi at home it shows all, but if i leave wifi area they disappear again, has this happened to anyone else??

Edit:

Had to restart my phone for it to go back to normal, weird though all the same

That happens to me all the time. I've never had to crash out of anything as much as pokemon go. Was in the zoo last week and it was pretty much unusable. When you're with someone else you crash out more often. Their sightings list is full and yours is blank, crash out and go back in, your sightings list is full.

I'd say living on a small Mediterranean island would give you access to lots of different types, especially around the port area.

I finally got a charmander from an egg this morning. 525Cp and 84% IV

Also caught a wigglytuff in a private residence full of mildly interesting things. 23 CP for wiggly, what a hero!

Congrats! They're bloody difficult to find in the wild so eggs are pretty much your only hope.

I found out yesterday that Wigglytuff is a beast when attacking gyms, if it has the correct moveset; Pound & Hyper Beam. I tested this myself and wiped out a Slowbro last night.

Do the IV's stay the same when you evolve it? I have an 8.9% IV Wartortle CP 695 and was wondering if it would be an equally terrible IV Blastoise?

There's a rarish Pokémon spawn around Fitzgerald's pub Sandycove. Have found a Grimer, Kadabra, Kabuto, Growlithe, Mr. Mime (before they were became more common) and multiple Charmander's and Pikachu's around there

check "poke assistant" it gives you a rough estimate of the IV evolution like what's the highest IV you could get for your pokemon and it's evolved form

IVs stay the same after an evolution.

That's a pretty weak Wartortle anway, CP wise. That'll only evolve to around a 1,100CP Blastoise.

You're better off finding a good Squirtle to evolve. Personally after spending all that time and effort collecting candies, I'd want it to be as strong as possible.

Another pidgey from a 2k egg and pinsir from a 10k which is at least new. Top end of level 21 need to catch a lot of pidgeys and drop an egg.

I had five minutes at lunch and said I'd run up a few hundred metres. Got a jiggly and a shelder, the latter of which I'd never seen before. Verify Pidgee enough for two evolutions as well.

I'm getting 1 Year, 8 Months. Too bad it doesn't take into account that I'm not actively catching mons as I used to. In the past 2 or 3 days, I'd say I only caught half the amount of pokemon I used to before per day. So I think I'm gonna be stuck at level 27 for a good while yet.
