Grand Canal seems to be a good spot. Seen them couple of times on my sightings list when passing near there.
Only got 1 there myself however, havent had the chance to walk along it.

Piers in howth are good. Just did a scan, 3 on the west pier. An Omanyte between the 2 piers too.

I'VE LOST MY BLOODY LAPRAS!!! It's been in a gym somewhere since last Wednesday!

On my app wishlist is the name or location of what gym my 'mon is in. Or maybe a Retrieve button to recall him!

This is the map scanner mentioned here recently, need to set it up with some throw-away accounts. Not sure if people are running it 24-7 or just turning it on every hour or so.

Can you find out where you left your Pokemon?
I've a Hypno 1400+ in a gym for the past few days.
Thing is I don't know where he is. I try to take a few gyms per day.
Most last less than 24 hours.
So I have no idea what gym he is guarding.

I had a couple of mons holding a couple of gyms. How come I can't collect coins whenever I take over a gym? Or can I only collect one time per day?

Once per 21 hours. Once you cash out in the shop by hitting the shield button a 21 hour countdown starts until the next time you can hit it.

Had my first 3 10KM eggs hatch in the last week.

First was a 560cp Venonat
Second a 1250cp Aerodactyl
Third a 1240cp ........... Aerodactyl

Hatched 2 10k eggs over the last couple of days, both contained Lapras, both around 1,650CP, one had 89% IVs so happy enough with that. Powered him up to 2022. First 2k+ mon, level 24.

Another 10k to hatch in a kilometre. Hope I get something nice.

Only 5k and 2k eggs in the basket now though.

That's a load of gowl, I think. If you go in to a gym you should be able to collect coins all the time!! No one is gonna hold a gym for more that 21 hours!! Not usually anyway!

You can only cash out once per 21 hours - you don't have to hold a gym for that long.

1. Battle and take over a gym.
2. Place your lad in the gym
3. Hit shield button in shop = 10 coins + 500 stardust INSTANTLY.

Now you can't hit that shield button again for 21 hours so the trick is to take over a bunch of gyms quickly and cash out "optimally". Hold say, 5 gyms simultaneously and cash out for 50 coins + 2500 stardust. Then wait 21 hours to do it again tomorrow.

Too easy. You'd go with your mate to a gym and one of you takes it over and collects the coins and drops a weedle. You kill the weedle and drop one for him ad infinitum.

The current way is crap though. You should have to risk a Pokemon dying in order to claim a reward commensurate with the achievement.

How do people imagine trading? I don't really like the idea. I imagine you could fill your pokedex in a couple of days trading your local crap for others' vermin.

You don't have to hold a gym for 21 hours. Just go back the next day, recapture gym, collect the coins, next day rinse and repeat.

I believe I had the same message before last week; at least if you have an option to "Retry" it's the same as mine. I just had to disable and then re-enable my mobile network connection to resolve it.

You can get the apk from reddit.com/r/pokescanner, handy having it when you're out. It's slow if you have one account, I've a few linked to it. Obviously don't use your real one

Have the retry aswell but that's not fixing it was on level 25 aswell:(

I wouldn't worry too much as if you were't doing anything untoward, e.g. GPS spoofing, then it could simply be an issue that you can/will resolve itself. You can find some possible causes (that aren't related to a perma-ban) here.

I've just downloaded that pokescanner apk from reddit. Is it just me or is it very slow?

Also something else i just thought of, i'm using a different account obviously not as high level as i'm currently at. Will it still show the same Pokemon that i'd find on the higher levelled account? Do all players find the same pokemon in the same place just at different CP levels?
