I caught a Porygon on Barrow St., outside the Fresh shop in the IFSC, and one in Stonybatter(Kirwan St to be precise).

Did some evolutions tonight. Evolved that 700CP Dratini which I was hoping to turn into an above 2600CP Dragonite, but ended up somewhat short at 2480CP. Oh well, it's still my strongest mon now .

Then evolved my 1st Exeggutor. Strongest was a 698CP Exeggcute, which should have turned out around 1650CP. But to my absolute delight, it ended up at more than 1900CP. More than made up for the Dragonite before it

Then last but not the least, I finally had enough candies for my 1st Blastoise. Got damn those Squirtles are slippery bastids, but I got there in the end. My best Squirtle only evolved to a 890CP Wartortle so was expecting a less than 1500CP Blastoise. But then I got more than I bargained for again. It turned out to be a 1680CP Blastoise. Saw I had just about enough candies to power it up once so I did just that to bring it over 1700CP. That's when I looked down and to my horror saw that the Charge attack is Flash Cannon. Pretty much the worst Charge attack out of the 3 (Flash Cannon, Ice Beam and Hydro Pump).

Absolutely gutted. Pretty much have a gimped Blastoise. Pokemon Go y u do dis to me

Your clock needs to be on automatic time.

I'd say that's why your incense doesn't work, if you have it set manually it won't work.

There seems to be a spawn of abras in Dublin Airport at the taxi rank between the radisson hotel and the credit union. I'm not sure how often but I have caught 5or 6 of them the last 2 Nights I've been in work.

Had a weird issue yesterday where I couldn't fight a couple of gyms. The fight would start and then just as the go happened it would leave the fight saying error. If I left it for a while went off and got a stop or two it seemed to fix itself

That's a soft ban. Usually happens when you drive someplace too fast after hitting pokestops somewhere else.

But I was able to catch pokemon and get stops. I had taken the dart to where I waa going, had taken some gyms, then this happened on the 3rd one. Then was fine for a while and happened again about an hour later a few km away

Also after my GF trained up the gym to open a spot I was able to put a pokemon on the gym

I have all 3 evolve forms of Eevee, But when I evolved my 4th Eevee, I named it Sparky, and got a Vaporeon.?
Is it the case that the naming trick doesn't work once you have all 3 already?

There are reports that it only works the first time. Whether that is the first time for all types or the first time per type I'm not sure.

Worked everytime for me so far. About 6 in total. After naming I always quit the game to make sure the name has backed up to the server.

I'll use that tip. I just wanted another Jolteon because its great against water types. Those thunder bolts do serious damage.

Have to ensure I do that. Have a Vap snd a Flare already. But not have 2 500+ eevee's and want to get myself another vaporeon and a jolteon.

What level Eevees did you all wait for before evolving?

I've on on level 567, and finally enough candy to evolve it but not sure if I should hold out for a better Eevee first.

The nickname thing for Eevee only works the first time for each. Even if you close out and back into the app it's completely random

I'd just evolve it. Eevees are not that rare and it's only 25 candies to evolve another one anyway. If you find a stronger Eevee later, then it shouldn't take too long to get the necessary candies to evolve it. Plus you're gonna have to evolve 3 Eevees anyway for the 3 different evolutions so might as well get one out of the way now.

They literally pop up everywhere I go. I'm sitting on like 80 Eevee candies right now, could evolve 3 if I want to :P

I'm out foreign. They're not as common here! I was actually lucky to get one from an egg to get the candies

Cheers though, I might just go ahead and get my vaporeon, see how it goes.

Finally hatched a second Vulpix and gave me enough candies to evolve from 465 to a 1318 ninetails :-)

Still failing to connect after a week. Pretty sure they've nixxed my account. How to check though? I tried adding a new Google account to my phone but when I choose Try a different account it jus spins uselessly on the login page.

Or else they're blocking connection over WiFi? 14MBps should be fast enough to play.

If you used GPS spoofing, they've probably banned your account, they've banned loads.

Sounds more like an issue with your phone though. Have you tried making a trainer club account?

Nice. I have a 505 Vulpix and 52 candies. Since they're so rare, I think I'm gonna wait for a bit more and see if I come across a stronger though.

Have you tried your account on another phone?

Was sent the London and then Paris with work .... The Pokemon I caught are epic! I've gone up from 93 to way more! And I've loads to evolve too! Was handy getting one day in each, Hyde park, Big Ben, the Eiffel Tower and the louvre is teeming with Pokemon and non stop lures on numerous pokestops. Was at the park by the luvre for 2 hours after I got work finished and caught so much! There was around 20 lures on at one time. Could reach 4 in one area, was brilliant!

Oh well, back to the middle of nowhere catching weedles again :pac:

Head to deer park in mount merrion to get a doduo. Loads there. Go from the playground end parallel to deer park road and you'll have at least 3
