I have seven 5km eggs on the go at the moment - really want a high CP Abra, and still need Porygon, Lickitung, Exeggecute, Grimer and Cubone. And I'm one catch away from evolving Ekans and Magnemite.
No doubt I'll get multiple Shellders, Venonat or Paras.

I'd say do it at home and aim to evolve 60+ Pokemon, preferably have them organised to minimise scrolling too. You can get up to 70 and beyond evolves if you only do Weedle or Pidgey. It takes around 25-30 seconds to evolve a Pokemon which will give you 500xp.

It can take a lot longer to catch a Pokemon that will only give you 100xp. Granted you can get up to 700xp if it's a new Pokemon but will that be the best use of time. Will you be able to catch it in less than 42 seconds and get back to evolving?

60 is a lot of pokemon to evolve, even with pidgies you would need to have caught 195 pidgies to have enough candy to evolve 60. I'm with Kavrocks on this one, forget about the lure and evolve in your sitting room. It's a waste of a lure imho, evolving takes too long.

Got my 5th 10k egg today at level 14. Are people really having trouble finding them? Iv nearly always got 1 on the go.

I havent got one 10K egg yet. i'm also having a tough time finding decent pokemon, or at least enough to get an evolve. i've only managed to eveolve 1 Eevee and that got me an 883CP Jolteon, I have a 440CP Eevee now but only 2 candees it will be an age before i can evolve it, i never find Eevee out my way. Also i see it is an XS weight Eevee, does anyone know if this really matters?

I never use lucky eggs with lures anymore - simply because I don't have time to make use of the lure. My last lucky egg yielded 57k xp - 55 pokemon evolved, 2 of which were new to the pokedex.

A bit frustrated with the game. Said there was a pontya nearby. Went around the estate looking but no sign of it. How am I supposed To find it? Only need one to evolve.

I got electrabuzz,aerodactyl,scyther and magmar. I surely have to get a dud 10k this time. a pretty decent haul from them so far.

I'll give you a 10k egg yes but how do you hatch one sitting at a lure and will you be as fast evolving Pokemon while walking as sitting down to make the 10k egg worthwhile?

60 isn't a lot if you have patience. It also only costs 10 candies to evolve a Pidgey or Weedle if you transfer them once evolved. Personally, by evolving at home it means I can still play at home and don't always have to be out.

i keep running out of Pokeballs, used 7 and a razzberry trying to catch a Slowpoke (which i've never caught) and still didn't catch i'm, then just as i got back to my car i missed out on a wild Ponyta, Polywag, Manky (which i've never caught) and Nidoran all right in the one spot. Disaster.

Also just hatched 2 5k eggs and got two 450 Seels, little bit shit but i'm only 4 candees away from evolving a Seel now though so that's cool.

I've no intention of ever using the "solar" panels as a means of charging!

Some pretty useless changes again in the update, like the grass behind the pokemons in the "Sightings" list. But at least they giving out XP again for Nice, Great and Excellent throws.

nope the fact you can only drop one mon while people can use 6 to smash yours means you'll never defend it proper

There was a gym in wicklow town which was full of high CP pokemon. I leveled it up and stuck mine in and said it will take someone a while to take it dowm.

It was gone by 6PM that day. Its nearly impossible to hold a gym for 2 collections.

They should really limit attacker to number of pokemon in the gym.

I had one with my 2900+ dragonite, with someone 3k, snorlaxs, vaporeons and flaroeons, minimum was about 2k, taken down within an hour.

Tbh gyms will always be taken down quickly cause even with 5+ strong pokemon in them, the person fighting the gym and keep beating one, healing their Pokémon and start again til they're all gone.

Niantic have some people in the states testing a beta tracker, so far it seems pretty good!
