Manky grey tracksuits

I had some foreign teenagers with me over the weekend and the laughs they got of the manky grey tracksuit trend. There was what's app pictures flying to thier friends at home on this fashion.

People give out about buying school uniforms yet there seems to be no shortage of money for manky tracksuits.

Is it a lack of mirrors or a lack of self respect that has caused an increase in this, ahem, 'fashion trend'?

I live in a rough part of Blanchardstown and every teenager wears them. It's disgusting. It's a combination of being dragged up, having no class and peer pressure that makes them dress so horribly. Can't wait to move.

It's easy to tell the difference between someone who wears a tracksuit for work or just going to the gym and a skanger wearing one, there's no mistaking the thick head of a skanger.

It's just comfy. Probably the most convenient thing to wear on a normal day to day basis.

Not just an Irish trend either, you see this in a lot of countries in Europe and probably further afar. I don't see why it bothers anyone. If the wearer is happy, then all's good. This isn't the late 1800s where everyone's expected to have a top hat and cane, or carry a ladies umbrella.

I'm as far removed from a skanger as can be and old enough to not give a **** about what I wear when not going to the pub etc. I have tracksuit pants just like these (colour varies) and afaic it's all about comfort and they're goddamn comfortable. Tbh, I feel a little claustrophobic when I see people wearing skin tight jeans. Also, wtf is your idea of manky, I can think of much worse colours than light grey.

I've never being a tracksuit person. I can't really think the last time I wore them.
I know people of all professions that wear them tough and being honest it doesn't bother me.
I sort of got skinny jeans on men when they became popular even tough I never really saw any one look good in them.
I don't get skinny trackauits tough. They just seem really tight and uncomfortable which is the exact opposite of what a tracksuit is meant to be in my opinion!

Grey trackies, tucked into white socks with the drugs you're selling concealed in your blue runners, a blue soft shell type jacket with a small knife in the pocket and a navy Nike baseball cap, walking around with both hands on your Harry hickey/town halls.

I personally love the way these scrotes wear the same gear because you can spot them a mile away.
