They have been using programs on their PCs that log in 24/7 and are programmed to walk constantly and catch/transfer/evolve/spin/hatch everything in sight. They use GPS spoofing to roam areas with lots of stops and good Pokémon. When the accounts reach L30+ the scumbags sell on the accounts on grey market places.

What's so hard to understand? Someone uses a bot to constantly farm pokemons and level up quickly 24/7, while he/she is doing whatever else they do. They then have to plenty of candies to evolve and stardust to powerup etc..

Has anyone here actually managed to hold a gym for long enough to win coins? Notwithstanding the gyms the botters are holding in town, they seem to change hands very quickly. I saw one recently at level 8, held by the red team and a couple of hours later it was level 8 held by the yellow team. Where I work there are about 5 gyms nearby and they're constantly changing red, blue, yellow.

It seems kind of pointless.

The most I have held was 3 at once. Just long enough to collect the coins.

On a weekend in a business park after work hours lol.

You can collect the coins straight away after taking the gym. It's only after collecting coins for the 2nd time, 3rd time, etc.. that you wait for 21 hours.

Take the gym, collect the coins straight away. After 21 hours if the gym has been taken by someone else, re-take the gym and collect the coins again. Rinse and repeat.

I took a gym in Sandyford Industrial estate one morning just before 6am. I had it for all of 5 minutes before a procession of cars appeared one by one to win it for the blue team. Taken to level 4 in minutes.

I expect to wake up with zero pokeballs, a couple of pidgies and a weedle........and a hangover.

Thanks, I didn't know that and didn't know I had to do anything to take coins, hence I've never received any!

Yeah, just go to the shop and click the shield icon on the top right straight after taking the gym. Holding the gym for a few seconds is more than enough time to claim your coins. You won't get any bonus coins for holding it for hours on end so it doesn't really matter if it gets retaken quickly by the other teams. Just go back the next morning, re-take the gym for yourself and claim the coins again.

Anyone know of any good spots for Pokemon in either Belfast? Seen loads of posts about good places in Dublin, and I remember seeing something about Scyther's in Ormeau park, can anyone confirm this or suggest other spots?

Caught a ~1000 tentacruel today, hatched bulbasaur.
Lost about 30 great balls trying to get a victreebell, had to give up in the end :mad:
Gym here has 5 pokemon, 27000 prestige, and someone appears to be working on raising the prestige after I finished up a few mins ago
Hopefully it'll stay there a while ...

Yup, I took 3 gyms this morning but didn't collect straight away. Eventually found 2 gyms which were on the same team as me and luckily both had 1 free slot each. Put a mon in each and collected right away for a total of 50 coins

I've gotten Jinx and Dratini at City Hall and Bulbasaur, Rhyhorn and Vaporeon up by Cavehill.

3 new pokedex entries today two of which were 1k +
10 k egg was an electrabuzz 1064cp not a bad hatch.
Now have 5 X 1k pokemon in my top 6.

I really want to get my weepinbell evolved.
It's 705 cp but takes out 1200 vaporeons.
It a a little beast of a flower lol

what level are you mate? wondering when i can expect to start getting 1000+ pokemons. best iv found is a 440cp jynx.

Level 15 and not seeing a massive difference in trying to catch, higher cp Pokemon might be more likely to run but never waste more then 3 balls on a mon.

I try not to waste mote than 5 unless it's a new pokedex entry or a hard to find one like starter mons.

Guys PLEASE HELP ME, I'm level 21 now and still haven't gotten a SINGLE 10km egg!

Is it possible that my local pokestops are just really unlucky and I need to visit different ones for 10km eggs or am I just super unlucky?!

Yeah I'd really love a Victreebel, I nearly have enough candies to evolve a Weepinbell but the two I have aren't great CPs. I got a 590 Bellsprout today, so I'm going to wait to get the extra candies and evolve that out instead, should make a monster Victreebel.
