This, for me, is the best part of the game. Making it a real lottery as to whether you catch a worthwhile Pokemon means you get such a sense o satisfaction from it when it goes in. I play with the two kids and we get one catch each and if it escapes the next one has a go.

I've twelve Pokemon that I will never catch again so never have the situation of throwing away balls at caterpie or rattatas. I'm lucky enough to have a 20 pokestop loop a few km away so can always nip out at night and stock up.

I evolved a 425Cp Eevie earlier an only got a 850 CP Jolteon. How are people getting the 1500 ones? Went to the gym with my three super Eevie and a few more 800 mons and got absolutely annihilated by a Snorlax. He didn't even go red.

Seriously if you're on Android go back to version 0.29.2. I did today and it's gotten easier to catch them. Caught a 1067 CP Venomoth with a single great Ball and razz berry using a curve throw. Caught several 300 - 600 CP Pokemon with 1 to 2 balls either Great or Poke and no berries too. I also found today the only Pokemon requiring more than 2 balls where Weedle's, Pidgey's, Rattata's or Spearow's (didn't come across any Zubat's).

Yesterday I wasted 90 Ultra/Great/Poke Balls on around 15 Pokemon and failed to catch a 1362 CP Weezing with several berries and ultra balls.

I was playing this earlier and also booking movie tickets at the same time. Let's just say that didn't end well.

I ended up booking tickets for Finding Dory, instead of Jason Bourne

Was too busy catching a Rattata to notice I selected the wrong film. Had to pay again to book the right fecking film.

The higher CP your Eevee is, the higher your evolution will be. I had a similar CP Eevee that I evolved into a Vaporeon who was then about 1000 CP. I then powered it up to 1785 CP but that took thousands of stardust! Also, your trainer level determines the CP ceiling of your Pokemon, i.e. I was stuck at approx 1705 CP at lv20 for my Vaporeon but could then hit 1785 when I hit lv21.

Jolteon seems to be the lowest CP evolution of Eevee. The Eevee evolves can be powered up quite a few times before they max, so 1500 is definitely possible.

If you go to pokefind it has a really evolve calculator. Let it know the Pokemon, current CP and it predicts min, max, and mean CP of the evolution. The mean is pretty accurate

Will Niantec Ever put more pokestops in Villages / Towns ? The local town has only 2 pokestops and thats 4km away and then there's no other towns etc nearby.. Kinda annoying. And how do they determine what should be a Pokestop?

Greystones is crawling with Eevees! I left the app on for half an hour after I got in and my avatar was doing sprints. Walked an extra 400m on my 5km egg while just watching TV. Seems to have stopped now!

You can put in a request for a pokestop or gym.
Iv seen new gyms pop up I'm my area citywest.
I'm on mobile so can't link you at the moment.

Where I am in Waterford is quiet enough for Eevee aswell, was in Mitchelstown last weekend and caught loads of them. They seem more common in town centres rather then suburbs.

I still need a Bulbasaur, haven't seen a single one yet.

FYI for anyone in Waterford, down by the Marina Hotel, seems like a Dratini nest

To be honest. There is no holding gym's. Unless there is 3 or 4 1200+ in a gym to ward off lower players. So the best you can put in while leaving high fighters to take others before your taken out is all we can do.
