I got the spreadsheet and a car which I bought for 40k, in May of last year, had serviced, is in immaculate condition... the trade in value was...€28,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What the actual f**k!? I emailed the dealer and asked them to explain why the offer for my car was so low. I doubt I will get a reply that makes sense.

They are very similar cars and I'm not sure in day to day you will notice huge differences. Ok when you push you will definitely but how often can any one drive like that? For me it is too much money for something very similar butthe R is a great drive no doubt.

hazbot wrote: » Got a chance to do some testing with the spare key, and now I know what happened the day I got locked out. I went through the same steps as before, starting with the car locked. I unlocked just the hatch, threw in the key and closed it. I watched the indicators and they did flash four times, and I squinted through the rear screen at the MFD and it had a warning on it. The hatch didn't lock and I was able to open it again. However ... I tested the same thing again, and started the timer on my phone as soon as the hatch closed. After exactly two minutes, the indicators gave one more flash and then the hatch locked itself with the key inside. I tested again just to make sure and again after two minutes, the hatch locked. So it gives you a grace period to fish out the keys, but then it will lock. The day I got locked out of the car was bright and sunny so it wasn't obvious that the indicators had flashed a few more times. I had just thrown the backpack into the car and walked off and when I returned an hour later the car was all locked up This weekend I went to the locksmith and got a copy made of the bladed part of the key. It's small enough to keep in my wallet so hopefully this won't be an issue ever again !
JoeA3 wrote: » That's interesting. Another thing kinda related to this is, if you unlock the car but don't actually open any doors, the car will auto lock itself again after a minute or so. I've noticed too when it does this that the mirrors don't fold in.

The vehicle made the boat which docked in Dublin on the 1st August 2016. Does anyone know how long it might be until I get it here in Cork? Thanks
