They do this for fuel paid at the pump by card, it's a pre authorisation to see if the card works, they then refund it a few days later when the full amount cones out.

Cout yourself lucky that it was only 1 euro, I used one of those 24hr pumps in france 2 weeks ago and they pre authorised 130 euro for 20 euro fuel

to make it worse it took 10 days to get the refund..

once you know it's abandoned take the number plates off and the council will take it away and use it in the fire station for practice

Don't do this! You could be accused of criminal damage. You have no idea if the car is abandoned or not.

If the tax and nct are out and it's on a public road the Gardai can impound it.

check the window next time for tax , cars on a public road have to be taxed or can be towed/impounded by guards

especially if its causing a nuisance

Had this problem a while ago. Lad broke down and left the car in the estate. Waited a while for him to come back, no sign. It was there a month so I called the guards and there was a fella straight over with a tow truck the following morning.

I think the Emperor is one of the best rated in Clomel. I haven't been there for years but it's top rated on Trip Advisor.

That's the one across from the Credit Union.

Emperor has changed hands within the same family and the take away's have suffered, got one there last week and the beef wasn't good as in you couldn't cut it, it was so tough. gave it to the dog.

Quick question, have a friend looking for social housing (rental house coming to an end and owner moving in) and we are going to do a drive around the local authority estates to see what's empty. Apart from the obvious estates like Brook crescent, elm park, can anyone just jot down a few names of some so that we can do a walk by and see if we can arm ourselves with any info for a visit to the housing authority. Many thanks

If not, they are wasting their time visiting the Council.

Yes, Yes and they hope to but I was just looking at another option for them if possible. Do you know of any other council estates please
