Do i need to get the guy anything if he's coming to mine, etc.?

/me is slightly tired and clueless but actually bought a dress today!

guy buys corsage + (or rents) tux - non negotiable.

who pays for what:
bf + gf : bf pays (even if it is gf's)
m8 + m8 : whoever's debs it is pays (cept for above stated)
m8 + m8 hoping to be more than that... OFFER to pay... face it,you'll have to pay for sex for the rest of your life consider this an introductry course ...

I'm not going to my school's Debs cuz i was only in my class for 6 months and i don't feel like I was part of the class so im not going. The others in my class were strangers to me really so I aint goin. You can all go awww now if it will make you feel closer to america.

Maybe this has been answered already (because I'm too lazy to read all the way down the page again. But could someone please give me advice on what to get. And where do you get those "little flower thingies"? I need to know the full story cos knowing me I'll fuk it all up.

I am more likely to bring someone from the same year as myself and shes a mate (I'm hoping she'll be more than a mate by the end of the night). HELP ME PLEASE!!!

huh, i payed for my gf at my debs(2000) and she payed for all at her debs(2001), i could have been a gent a paid for both but she offered and well i accepted(gleefelly)

Also my debs i only had the odd drink, but learned my lesson and got ratty aresed at hers from insulting her mother to puking in her house(the full nine yards)

Tis good enough time(debs) but are greatly over rated.

Hehe sorry man, I thought someone else would have answered this.....

OK, If you want, bring a small box of chocolates. Not roses or quality street or sh1te like that, but some expensive box of Thornton's or something.....you know the ones that cost like €50 and have maybe 4 chocolates in them. Only if you want now.....but she'll use them as hangover cure the next day/night, or she'll give them to her mum. I didn't bring any on my debs, but then the girl was already my gf

If you're doing your damndest to appear like a great guy, bring a flower or two for her mum. Not a huge bouquet (sp?) just maybe one or two red roses. Again, I didn't do this at mine.....I leave it at your discretion.

The only thing you have to bring is the "little flower thingie"

. Called the corsage, when you go to book your tux, they'll ask you if you want one. If they don't ask you - you ask them! If you have your own tux, or you've already booked it, chances are a parent or older sibling or friend's older sibling will know where to get them. Flower shop maybe?

So that's all. If you wanna go minimalist, just turn up in your tux with a corsage - that's what 90% of the other males in your class will have done.
Or you could go the whole hog - Have a singing telegram deliver 120 red roses that morning, buy her mum a cashmir scarf, and turn up in a penguin suit with a bottle of Don Perignon '71 to drink with her parents while you wait for her to get dressed. I leave it up to you

I also went along with 2 friends, one had a date, while the other didn't and we all took a taxi there. Not a limo, I know, but eh... And, to make things a bit bad, I also forgot the tickets at my debs (which didn't really matter in the end lol), and due to it being Daylight Savings Time on the day we had our debs (after midnight), so we lost an hour at the bar.... The bastards!

Anyhow, after the debs, we all took the bus. A fight broke out between 2 guys and everyone had to help separate them. In the end, one of the guys got his arse kicked off the bus. We went to the village green for some bowling and I didn't get home till 8am the following morning.... I can't remember much after that lol
