They very quickly removed it, announced it was a mistake by Major Nelson. Activision decide when/if it lands on next gen, and why would they do that with IW coming out?

Up to a point you couldn't buy the BC COD games on XB1 but now you can. Before you had to buy them on your PC or 360 to play them on XB1. That's why he said they are all available to buy on XB1 now. He didn't mean there will be no more BC COD games.

An old title like Blops II (2012) becoming BC wouldn't effect sales of an upcoming title. Those old titles would still sell. Recent BC games have proven this.

I have a feeling those titles are earmarked to be remastered and sold as a pre-order bonus for the upcoming COD releases over the next few years.

Since purchasing the first dlc im finding it much harder to find a game especially in hardcore
Can't get one at all in HC kill confirmed which is my fav mode

It's because there is so much people that have not purchased the DLCs even up to this point with a 5 year old game. That's what I find stupid about Call of Duty's DLC model, it separates players from each other so if somebody has all the DLCs and somebody else or even just your friend doesn't have the same DLCs as you, they cannot play with you online on the maps. Meanwhile, in Overwatch, they give you new maps for free and everybody can play them straight away no matter who.

I barely play any Hardcore game mode anyway.

Hold on Ghosts doesn't need backwards comparability it was already an Xbox One title.
Also there are people still playing it, hell I've had a few games recently it's not as bad as you think it was!

I truly do hate Ghosts for two reasons, the maps and the Sat Com or even streaks as a whole.
