Was just listening to Eamon Keane on Newstalk interview Billy Kelliher TD about more job losses in Cork. The interviewer kept asking the politician if a taskforce would be set up to do something about the job losses in the Cork area.

What exactly is a taskforce, and can anyone point to a specific taskforce that has brought about improvements in the area it was focusing on?
