Now here lads,wtf is going on ?

Lets sort this out nice and open. As you all know, INC Play DM2 inside out and dare any Clan to play us on that level. Since the start of the IQCL I've been pushing to get that level played (and btw, Im a supposed IQCL Admin).

Lets figure this out..
What clan Plays DM2? INC..
What Clan isnt playing this weekend? INC..
What map is to be played this weekend? DM2

They're all in on it, they want you to give up Quake, Devore has been tryin it on with your wife, Suds ran a nail across your car last week, Dav tried it on with your brother, Slosh is changing the quake server addresses to Inc.W@nker.com.

On a serious note Eric, in fairness, they are short of levels at the moment, they were suggesting e3m1 ffs, which is a level I love but noone plays as a war level.
Most ppl dont like DM2 for wars, that's why they kept it off til now, but in a choice against DM2, UK4 and E3M1, DM2 is an obvious choice. Seeing as Dav is mostly choosing the levels, I doubt he has any vendetta against INC.
But then again look at it this way, even if they did deliberately pick it. Is that unfair? You just said you play DM2 inside out and you have been pushing for it, well isn't that as biased a thing to do as for them to pick it against ure favour?

I think both Von and Zero have just about grasped the point here. I made it real clear to the IQCL Admin that we were good on DM2, even as admin. Thats my goddamn point.

I never tried to hide this nor REALLY made a push on it as I belived it would never get voted in because nobody really plays it except INC. If it was to get voted in, I believed people people would have considered me biased or something similar. This is the exact point im trying to make.

Every mail I sent reguarding levels, I said DM2 (in brackets as a joke) and then the actual level I believed should be played.

I just think its very odd as to it happening this bl00dy weekend. Ok fair enuf were short of levels and as bunny says it was a coinsidence, then Im truely sorry that I even posted this as I'm just a hotheaded phucker sometimes! /me gets vertigo looking at the depth of MP's paranoia.

Well we would have to be the fuccking Illuminati to have orchestrated such a fiendish plot with impecable timing to screw INC with the choice of DM2 this weekend.

This is how we did it.....

Firslt I had to ensure that Irish quake only play about 5 maps for wars regularly. Thats not as easy as it seems with Von and bunny introducing new maps etc, but we just managed it, indeed I had to conviince people to axe UK4 or otherwise we would have missed the crucial week when INC weren't to play...

Then I had to slip cash to Ron, Zero, Muso and the likes to make sure that their maps had crucial flaws that would leave them un acceptable for war play just yet (the lads have the proper versions just waiting to be released).

Finally I immitated several people on irc last night to convince the others that DM2 had been picked by consensus. Kharn helped me here by staying online all night asking the question every half hour and I would answer him (disguised as Zero and Vex etc) with "Please give us DM2 Kharn!! We love DM2"

I dont like DM2 because I am primarily thinking of Div 2 here, where such a level is not helpful. Its tight and needs lots of TP experience to pull it together. For Div1 maybe, but I had hoped we'd have a new level to use

Almost no one is playing this weekend so I dont think its particularly aimed at INC.
