I read a report a couple of days ago that said that TV viewers in Dungannon and Ballymena are having TV reception difficulties after a new European Union wide system for Emergency Services using TETRA digital coding in the 380-400 MHz band was being tested recently. THE UK RCA said that the base stations for the new system was meeting it's licencing conditions and that viewers who are affected would have to sort out the situation themselves and would be stung £50 to make a formal complaint.

Any similar stories in the Republic or indeed anywhere else in Europe?

Is that interference specefic to group A UHF channels?
The only group A's down here are tv 3 and tg4, on which I've noticed nothing.
