The best things to do in tipperary (Clonmel more specifically) are:
Take a nice relaxing stroll through the scenic Elm Park or Garymoore areas of the town. Muggings and being beat up come for free in this package.

Go to McDonalds and be abused by 13 year olds who are drunk and think they are really tough because they wear hoodies and baseball caps and smoke joints.

I live in Tipperary and it's not that bad, in all fairness.
Templemore, Roscrea and Nenagh are all nice towns and there is plenty to do around Lough Derg as well.

Tipp isnt too bad at all its just that things to do are spread out all around the county.

Of all the towns in Tipp, i wouldn't call any of these 'nice'. Clonmel, now that is a nice town. Its always impressed me. Cashel's not bad either.

I live in Tipp and I don't know why someone would go to college here. The nightlife is terrible- same old clubs and pubs filled with old people. And there's no cities in Tipp people. The shopping is absolute CRAP!!!!!!!

My advice: Don't go!

never go hear its a dump, if you want to go to college somewhere close by go to Limerick, Cork or Waterford, trust me Im speaking on personal experince, wont forget the boring nights doing **** all might aswell watch paint dry

Ah now Tipp isnt that bad. Life is what you make it to be.

When i came to Clonmel first, i knew nobody and over the years i made some great friends. If theres nothing happening in town then look outside of it. You have the nightlife in some surrounding country pubs that are great craic! You cant beat a good ol traditional irish music session. If youre not into that then bring a group of friends to a pub and have a laugh. Start up a club and get it going, thats what i did with the website in my sig and we havent stopped since. Were a friendly bunch and do anything to have fun.
