    For everyone who has asked about he Mayfair, this is the info.
    On harcourt street, no 15, just down from the russell court.
    on two floors, lovely tables, five or six, all pro dealers, who are from luton, or london, i think.
    lovely place, great buzz, full casino room downstairs, poker kept separate upstairs, not unlike the look of the merrion. say they are listing their comps, from this weekend on website, just checked and they not up yet.

    do you work for the Mayfair??!! just a guess, given your three posts to-date are on the Mayfair! What is their website? Do you know what the tournament schedule is like?

    Yep,,,,,,,,, I work there, I do a lot of their promotional work, but I have always been on this site long before Mayfair, so thought this was a good a place as any to give them a plug,,,,,,,,, Wasnt trying to pull the wool over anyones eyes, and truth be known was a bit pissed and in there at the weekend,!!!
    Its a pretty cool place, if you want to come on up just shout me and I can put you on the guest lists.
    Hope you lot dont think I was trying to be sneaky, but a girl has gotta earn a living.

    Sorry, hope you didn't think i was trying to accuse you of pulling the wool over our eyes!! I just meant the remark in a humourous way! :D

    It sounds like a nice place - but, maybe, as a suggestion, they could put more information on tournaments etc on their website?

    hey leapfrog,
    I take it no chance of getting a beer in there and is it ok to have 1 or 2 on you going in?....might take a detour from the fitz/merrion and check it out on fri night.is there guaranteed prize pools.ie if i turn up fri night and only 10 others there would i be left fighting it out for 200 euro? :confused:

    proper tournaments starting from the weekend of the 15th May, with the amount of requests we are getting for info, I can only say that when we are up and kicking it should be a very worthwhile visit,
    if you are going to come in let me know, i will leave a lucky chip with your name on it..
    Sorry no Beer, but we are strenuosly working on it.

    I work next door (more or less), so I'll probably pop in someday as well. I have a feeling it might take a while for the tournaments to really get going; anyone who was playing in the Fitz Friday game when it first started up will know what I mean (e.g. a STT one night, afair). But if you treat the punters the same as the Fitz, it shouldn't take too long to get going.

    Maybe we can organise a 'Boardz nite', where a bunch of us go in and play one of the tournies (and hopefully get a few 'lucky chips' to waste on the blackjack)? Might be fun. And think of the after-poker possibilities...D2 (great on Friday night), the Odeon, Camden Street and of course Copperfaced Jacks (a haunt of Big Dragon, so the story goes...:))

    Thanks guys for the support and interest your all showing, this may have been the best site I visited for ages (smmmmmoooooooozin now).
    But seriously if a gang of you want to come in and take a table we can sort you a nice deal, and I will personally make sure that you get the VIP treatment, that means two glasses of honest to goodness tap water each instead of the one,,, Ha ha, (God the lack of sleep is making me kerazzzzzy).

    We wont mention frogs who leap, people who dont sleep, boozers who booze, and you wont loose........ hey that rhymes..

    Thanks again, just PM me your details anyone who is interested and we can set it up. Nite now, been on the go for 38 hours, a gal needs her beauty sleep.
