I recently purchased this system when it was on offer in Lidl and it was working fine for about two weeks. Now when I try to use the built in Video or TV with the speakers all I get is noise. DVD player still works fine.
Has anyone else had any problems with this system or does anyone have any suggestions.

    Thanks :)

Yes!!! It just happened to me yesterday evening. Was working great all along but I just had SKY+ installed yesterday evening so I disconnected it before the installer arrived (so not to have loads of leads all over the place) connected it up this evening. Just noise for tv. still works ok for dvdplayer.

How do you sort this out with lidl?

possibly the tuner has blown. if the signal is too strong it could do this. no real way of measuring this without specialised equipment, and if it happens the tuner is f*cked. Since the output for both the video and audio are working on the DVD side, it looks like the input...i.e. tuner :(

Just messing around with it there now. I tuned in the player RTE1, NET2, etc. AV2 then is for SKY+. When I select RTE1, NET2, etc. there is sound through all the spreakers. When I select AV2 (SCART TO SKY+) there is only noise.

Can someone tell me if they think there is something wrong with it or can it be something to do with the SKY+ box. It couldn't just be a coincendence. It was working perfect with ordinary sky box & now since sky+ it isn't.
