A Hungarian TV journalist who was filmed tripping up a refugee as he carried his child in his arms has announced she intends to sue him.

Petra Laszlo, who was also recorded kicking a fleeing child in a separate incident, as refugees ran from police in Hungary in September, was promptly sacked from the Hungarian TV channel NITV for her "unacceptable " behaviour after the footage went viral.

Laszlo, who later gave an interview insisting she was "scared" and "not a heartless racist children kicking camerawoman" has since claimed she will sue Osama Abdul Mohsen.

The 52 year old Syrian refugee was carrying his small son when Laszlo was filmed tripping him, causing him to fall heavily on him.

In an interview with Russian newspaper Izvestia, Laszlo said of Mohsen, "He changed his testimony because he initially blamed the police.

Of Facebook, she alleges the company failed to remove negative and threatening messages directed towards her and banned groups that were set up to support her actions.

Laszlo is also facing a criminal investigation from Hungarian prosecutors after two opposition parties said they would initiate charges of "violence against a member of the community".

She added she hopes to relocate her family from Hungary to Russia after the trials.

A Syrian refugee who was tripped by a Hungarian journalist has gained international recognition and the sympathy of the masses after his image went viral. However, a report from Syria claims that the football coach was part of Al Qaeda's Nusra front before fleeing the country with his family.

The image of Osama Abdul Mohsen shows the Syrian refugee being kicked and tripped over by a Hungarian camerawoman while running across the border from Hungary to Serbia along with his eight-year-old son. The image went viral and sparked international uproar.

The international community reacted with outrage and came all out in support of Mohsen. The camerawoman has been fired, while Mohsen has been invited to live in Spain by a football academy, where he has also been offered a job. Even Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid met with the family during a match.

It has, however, now emerged that the first division football coach was not only a member of the radical al-Nusra front, but he also fought the Kurds, the Democratic Union Party (PYD) -- pro-Kurdish political unit based in Northern Syria -- alleged.

PYD, which released an official statement on the issue, alleged that Mohsen was also involved in a violent suppression during a riot in Qamishlo, following a football match, in which more than 50 Kurds were killed, in 2004.

Mohsen, who was the coach of al-Fatwa club in Deir Ez Zor between 2004 and 2010, instigated the violence after the football match between al-Fatwa and Qamishlo's Jihad club, Rudaw reported citing PYD.

The screenshots taken from Mohsen's Facebook page are proof that he is not only a member of the Nusra front, but has also fought the Kurds near Amudeh, Serekaniye and Afrin, according to the PYD's statement.

A bunch of illegal immigrants stormed a border and she tried to trip them up. If he was a terrorist then fair play to her. Try that outside of the western world and being tripped up would be the least of your worries.

In the western world tripping people carrying children tends to be frowned upon. We also have this crazy idea of innocent until proven guilty. Maybe you should move to one of these non western countries if you aspire to be like them.

How did she know he was allegedly a terrorist?
