Just wondering if many people here have used this route?
If so how would you rate it? My wife and I are travelling with them as far as Kilimanjaro in a few weeks. I've read mixed reviews on other sites, but, as most of the reviews are for other international destinations, not dub to addis.
I'm just curious about what to expect really.
Thanks for any info you may have.

The LA-Dublin-Addis route was only launched back in June or July, wasn't it? It may take a bit longer before posters here have a lot of knowledge of it.

I've done the Washington DC-Rome-Addis return flight on Ethiopian and had no major complaints. Check in was a bit chaotic, as they didn't have enough staff in the airports, manning the desks, but the actual flights themselves were fine

Haven't flown direct to Dublin with them as it's a relatively new route but flew DUB-FRA-ADD-LLW with them return in May and no major issues. Had a stop in Jeddah which wasn't on the ticket but the flight itself was fine

So. Myself and my wife boarded the addis leg of the flight on Sunday evening, to say we were shocked when we boarded is an understatement. Not 1 effort to clean the AC after pax got off, we had a row to ourselves which was fine and dandy but the empty bottles of wine and soft drinks left behind and the used blankets and pillows left on the seats! Twice cabin crew had to speak to the pax in the exit row about staying in their seats and not to stand in the doorway with their friends drinking. 3 times my wife asked for a bottle of white wine, she was told "oh i'll get that for you now" only to be left on the dry! Then we arrived in addis ababas "new" terminal 2! That's a fuppin joke! The pipes for the fire suppression were dripping, a lot. I reckon terminal 1 in Dub is newer than there! If anyone is planning on using Ethiopian airlines DONT would be my nugget of advice! Only for we have to return with then in 2 weeks I'd never darken their check in desks again.
