Finding Solicitor

I dont want to go into all the details of my case, but whats the recommended way to find a good solicitor?

I was looking for ratemysolicitor.com but it seems to be gone?

I need someone that would have a bit of tact and is good at their job. No offence to anyone here, but every profession under the sun has its fair share of incompetent idiots.

If this case isnt handled promptly and tactfully it could ruin my career so I really cant afford to just pick a random name from yellow pages and hope for the best.
