    Hi

We are heading to wexford for a week 12th-19th. Id love to get a few ideas of things to do and see. We have a 2 year old girl and a 2 month old baby. We will be staying in Fethard on Sea.
Are there any boat trips we could go on?
Is there any swimming pools near by?
Also is there a train station near by. Toddler is "choo choo" obsessed and would love to bring her on one.

We will be there for fathers day so any ideas of what we could do. We went to quad attack a few years ago and OH loved it but would it be a bit crap for him doing it alone (obviously id need to stay with the kids). I also noticed on their website that clay shooting now available but cant see anything else about this. (going to send them a quick email anyway.).

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks

Fethard on Sea has nice beaches nearby, you could head to Kilmore Quay for boat trips.
Give the hubby a scare by bringing him on a tour of Loftus Hall plus take in Hook Lighthouse which is almost beside it.

Kennedy Park is great for both adults & kids - bring a picnic.

BTW,the weather is forecast to be great from midweek on so hopefully it'll live up to the Sunny South East tag.:)

No Choo Choo near Fethard on sea but you could take a spin over to Kilmeaden in Waterford and go via the Ballyhack - Passage East car ferry for the craic

Also, as Zerks said Kennedy Park is great and they actually have a model train ride in the grounds (think it's like a euro a ride) and is fun - it runs in the afternoons in Summer.

Swimming pools? I imagine New Ross pool is still closed after the winter storms (maybe someone else can confirm) but there is a public pool in Wexford town (fairly new you'll get their website online)

Thanks for the replies. We found the WSV railway website and were thinking of heading to Waterford for a day but didn't know about the ferry so that will be very handy. Loads of ideas. thanks again..

Strawberry Fest is also on in Enniscorthy if you want to pop up this way.
