BBC Red Button Channels Recordable in Other Channels Sky+

Messing around with the Winter Olympics RB coverage this morning, I've been able to set programmes on either channel to record on both RB 1 and 2 and also been able to record and view the currently aired programme so it does seem to be working.

If you go to either of the two RB channels, then press play on any recording in your planner, leave the recording with either the Sky button or the channel +/-, you'll return to the RB channel with the schedule for the next 12 hours should available and recordable.

Note though, this may only be on Amstrad boxes. Found it on my DRX890 with the latest EPG, couldn't replicate on Samsung box in other room with latest EPG for that.

Also, couldn't get it to work with any other channels except for the two red buttons. When leaving the viewing of a programme to start the glitch, channel number 000 usually appears on the banner of the other channels, but for the RB channels on the Amstrad, this number appears as 5535.

Just to add in case anyone, this now seems to be working on my Samsung HD box too. Just putting the box into standby and turning it back on brings it up as being recordable on both boxes now. Hopefully it remains for a while before the next software update probably removes the glitch or the removal of the RB channels from the UK EPG possibly changes it.
