I only caught the tail end of the piece this morning on the radio but essentially it was about how regular ambulances have been used to transfer children to their nearest treatment hospital which for some is on the other side of the country. The kids would have to sit in what they described as a "fridge" for their entire journey and could become quite stressed and agitated. This will make their lives a little better and make their trips to hospital a much happier and even fun experience.
