    Hi
Has anyone any advise on a good steam cleaner for cleaning wood and tiled floors. I did buy the H20 which was advertised on the shopping channel but it didn't last 2 months... There are some many advertised but I have no idea which one if any are any good!!

    Any tips would be appreciated!

    Thanks
    Star

Try the Karcher... you will get much better results with a steam mop with seperate steam unit and resevoir, rather than all in one upright type. Buy decnet now and you will ahve it for years

I want to get a Steam cleaner for mainly the Bathroom and kitchen as well as carpet. I prefer something small
will not take up too much space. I also do not want to spend a fortune on something that will only last a
few years about 100 euros or just over is as much as I'd wish to pay if it is really good.

There are customer reviews for various makes fin the Argos site and or Amazon. However there is a mix or very good to bad ratings on the same thing.I tried to look up customer reviews that are independent in Which? and another site but they demand I subscribe to them. Please recommend something.

We've got a Vax Barefloor Pro I think. It does a good job of cleaning the tiles, but what I have found is that the grout gets filthy after a while. The grout is cream which is partly to blame, but I suspect that the dirt on the pile of the microfibre bonnet gets scraped off by the edge of the tile and collects in the grout. It's back to a mop and bucket for us!
